Relais & Châteaux began in France in 1954 as an association of hotel and restaurant owners. Today it counts 580+ members in 65+ countries, every one independently owned. The common thread is the table: between them, the members hold more than 300 Michelin Stars, and each hotel is rooted in its own landscape.
The privileges are offered by invitation, and only through accredited luxury travel advisors. LVXVRY is one of them.
We place each reservation with the hotel ourselves and talk to the owners or their team about your arrival, so the privileges are in place before you are.

The rate that qualifies
The privileges come with the rates a member hotel opens to accredited advisors. In most cases that is the flexible public rate; now and then a hotel adds an advance-purchase version. Member rates, prepaid and non-refundable rates, packages, corporate or negotiated rates, special offers and award stays all fall outside it.
Sometimes one of those other rates is simply the better deal. We check what the hotel is selling for your dates before we book, and tell you plainly which option wins — even when it means booking without the programme.
No points to collect here
Relais & Châteaux has no points programme, so there is nothing to earn on these stays. What you gain is the list of privileges above and a hotel that knows you are coming. Our notes on your preferences go on the booking instead of a member number.
Fixed privileges and those that depend on the day
Breakfast for two and the hotel credit come with the programme, once you are on the rate that qualifies. An upgrade, an early room or a late check-out depends on how full the hotel is that week. We ask for them in writing with the hotel; we do not promise them on this page.

- Which rates give me the privileges?
- The rates a member hotel opens to accredited advisors — usually the flexible public rate, occasionally an advance-purchase one. Member, prepaid, non-refundable, package, corporate, negotiated, promotional and award rates do not include them.
- Is every privilege certain?
- Breakfast and the hotel credit are, on a rate that qualifies. An upgrade, early arrival and late departure depend on what the hotel has free, and you will know at check-in rather than when you book.
- Will I earn points on the stay?
- No. Relais & Châteaux has no points programme, so there is nothing to earn. The benefit is the set of privileges on your booking.
- Is each hotel's offer the same?
- The list above is the common core. Members are independently owned, so each hotel sets the details — the amount of the credit, the welcome — and we confirm them for yours before you book.
