LHW VITA

The advisor route into The Leading Hotels of the World.

The Leading Hotels of the World was set up in 1928 by 38 independent hoteliers in Europe. It is now the biggest group of independent luxury hotels, with 400+ members in 80+ countries: former palaces, family-run country estates, private islands and famous city hotels. Each is owned separately and keeps its own personality.

How the programme works

LHW VITA is the programme for accredited luxury advisors, offered by invitation; LVXVRY belongs to it. It is not the same thing as Leaders Club, the guest membership — you can have both on one stay.

What we do for you

We book directly with each hotel. With independent owners that matters: the hotel hears about you from us, not only from a booking line.

What you receive
  • Breakfast for two, every morning
  • A credit to spend at the hotel
  • An upgrade when a better room is free
  • Earlier arrival and later departure, when the hotel can manage it
  • VIP welcome and an amenity in the room
Preferred Partner The hotel confirms what each booking includes. You pay the hotel’s own public price, and your Leaders Club membership counts as usual.

What you will notice at the hotel

Breakfast for two each morning and a credit to spend in the hotel are set by the programme. On a rate that qualifies they are not in doubt, and we confirm them when we book.

A better room, an early check-in and a late check-out are up to each hotel and the rooms it has free on the day. We put the request in early; you get the answer at reception.

Which rate to book

The privileges come with rates the hotel releases to accredited advisors — in most cases the flexible public rate, sometimes a pay-ahead version. Member prices, prepaid or non-refundable rates, packages, corporate or negotiated rates, promotions and points stays do not carry them.

Now and then a rate outside the programme gives you more for your money. We compare the options for your dates and recommend the better one, even when that means not using VITA.

Leaders Club on the same booking

Your Leaders Club number goes on the booking before the hotel receives it. The hotel recognises your membership on arrival, and the stay counts on any rate that qualifies. When a Leaders Club benefit and a VITA privilege are the same, you get the better of the two, not both.

Your questions

Does LHW VITA cost me anything?
Nothing. You pay the hotel at the rate that qualifies, and the privileges are part of the booking.
Which prices count?
Rates released to accredited advisors — usually the flexible public rate, occasionally a pay-ahead one. Member prices, prepaid or non-refundable rates, packages, corporate or negotiated rates, promotions and points stays are not included.
Which privileges can I count on?
Breakfast and the hotel credit, on a rate that qualifies. The upgrade, early check-in and late check-out depend on the rooms free that day, and the hotel confirms them at check-in.
Is LHW VITA the same as Leaders Club?
No. VITA is the advisor programme; Leaders Club is the guest membership. One booking can carry both.
Does the stay still count for Leaders Club?
Yes, on rates that qualify. We add your Leaders Club number before the booking reaches the hotel.
