What is waiting when you arrive
Breakfast for two every day and a credit to spend in the hotel are part of the programme. On a rate that qualifies they are certain, and we confirm them at the time of booking.
A better room, an early check-in and a late check-out depend on what the hotel has free that day. At a beach resort in high season that can be tight. We ask in advance; the hotel answers on arrival.
Rates that count
The privileges come with rates the hotel opens to accredited advisors — mostly the flexible public rate, occasionally a pay-ahead version. Member prices, prepaid or non-refundable rates, packages, corporate or negotiated rates, promotions and points stays do not include them.
Sometimes a rate outside the programme is the better deal for your trip. We compare what the hotel is selling for your dates and say which option is stronger, even when that is not ours.
MeliáRewards on these stays
Your MeliáRewards number goes on the booking before it is sent to the hotel. The hotel sees your level when you check in, and you earn on any rate that qualifies. If an elite benefit and a programme privilege are the same thing, you receive the better one rather than both.
