Design Hotels began in 1993 as a community of independent hotels chosen for their architecture and design. Today it counts 300+ hotels in 60+ countries. There is no chain standard to follow: each one is picked for its building, its owner’s ideas and how closely it belongs to its place.
The Design Hotels Collective is the advisor side of Design Hotels. Only accredited luxury advisors are invited in, and LVXVRY is one of them.
We book each stay with the hotel directly. Small hotels like these remember a guest who is introduced properly, and the privileges are on the file before you check in.

What you notice first
Breakfast for two each morning and a credit to use in the hotel come with the programme. On a rate that qualifies they are fixed, and we confirm them when we book.
The upgrade, early check-in and late check-out come from whatever the hotel has free on the day. With few rooms to play with, that varies more than at a big hotel. We send the request in advance and you hear the answer at the desk.
Prices that qualify
The privileges belong to rates opened to accredited advisors — normally the flexible public rate, at times a pay-ahead version of it. Member prices, prepaid or non-refundable rates, packages, corporate or negotiated rates, promotions and nights paid with points sit outside the programme.
Every so often one of those is the smarter choice. We lay the rates for your dates next to each other and tell you which one is better value, including when that is not a rate we book through the programme.
Marriott Bonvoy on these stays
Design Hotels sits within Marriott, so your Marriott Bonvoy number goes on the booking before it reaches the hotel. Your status is recognised on arrival and you earn on any rate that qualifies. Where your elite benefits and the programme give the same thing, the hotel applies the better one, not both.

- Yes, on rates that qualify. Your Marriott Bonvoy number is added to the booking before the hotel receives it.
