Design Hotels participate in Bonvoy property by property. Where a house does not participate, no points accrue and no status is recognised — we confirm which applies before booking.
How a Preferred Partner reservation is treated
Points and elite-night credit accrue on qualifying rates in the ordinary way. Your membership number travels with the reservation, so status recognition is applied at the hotel.
Elite benefits and Preferred Partner benefits are not additive. Where the two overlap — a breakfast entitlement, a lounge entitlement, an upgrade — the hotel applies whichever is stronger rather than both.
