Anantara opened its first resort in 2001 at Hua Hin, on the Gulf of Thailand. The name is Sanskrit for "without end", and the brand has grown to 50+ hotels, resorts and residences in Asia, the Indian Ocean, the Middle East, Africa and Europe. Expect overwater villas in the Maldives, desert palaces in Abu Dhabi, an elephant camp in northern Thailand and a former monastery on the Amalfi Coast. Anantara is part of Minor Hotels, and every stay counts in GHA DISCOVERY.
Anantara Journeys is the brand's programme for luxury travel agents. It is open by invitation and only through accredited advisors — LVXVRY among them. You pay the hotel at its official rate, and your GHA DISCOVERY membership is honoured in full.
We book with each resort directly and agree the details with its team ahead of time, so your privileges and your Signature Experience are arranged before you land.

The rate you need
The privileges come with the rates an Anantara hotel opens to accredited advisors — most often the flexible public rate, now and then an advance-purchase version. Member rates, prepaid and non-refundable rates, packages, corporate or negotiated rates, special offers and award stays are left out.
On a long stay or a resort sale, one of those rates may be worth more. We put it beside the rate that qualifies for your dates before we book and tell you which is better, whichever way it falls.

GHA DISCOVERY on the same stay
Your GHA DISCOVERY number goes on the booking, so the hotel sees your membership on arrival and you earn on the rates that qualify. If a DISCOVERY benefit and a Journeys privilege are the same thing, you receive the better one, not both.
What is fixed and what depends on the day
Breakfast for two and the Signature Experience come with the programme on the rate that qualifies. An upgrade, an early room and a late check-out depend on how full the hotel is. We send the request to the hotel in writing and let it confirm.

- Yes, on rates that qualify. Your GHA DISCOVERY number goes on the booking before it reaches the hotel.
- What is the Signature Experience?
- One complimentary experience chosen by each hotel, so it differs from resort to resort. We tell you what it is at your hotel before you book.
