What IHG Destined covers

IHG Destined is the group’s invitation-only programme for accredited luxury travel advisors, and LVXVRY takes part. It applies to six brands: Six Senses, Regent, InterContinental, Vignette Collection, Kimpton and Hotel Indigo.

How we work with the hotel

We book directly with the hotel and keep in contact with it before you travel, so you are expected at check-in and the privileges are attached to your stay.

What is fixed, and what the hotel decides

Breakfast for two each day and the hotel credit are part of the programme, so a qualifying booking always includes them. The upgrade, early check-in and late check-out are up to each hotel and depend on the rooms it has that day. We ask for them before you arrive; the hotel confirms at check-in.

Where we book it most

IHG Destined reaches from city hotels to island resorts. These are the ones we book most for our clients.

Carlton Cannes, a Regent Hotel, in Cannes, InterContinental Amstel Amsterdam in Amsterdam, Six Senses Ibiza in Ibiza, Six Senses Kaplankaya near Bodrum, Six Senses Fiji in Fiji and InterContinental Pattaya Resort in Pattaya.

Rates that include the privileges

IHG Destined applies to the rates a hotel offers accredited advisors, which usually means the flexible public rate and sometimes an advance-purchase rate. Member rates, prepaid or non-refundable rates, packages, corporate or negotiated rates, promotions and reward nights paid with points are not included.

A rate outside the programme can still be the right one for you. We compare what the hotel is selling for your dates before booking and tell you which option is stronger, whether or not it is ours.

IHG One Rewards on a Destined stay

Your IHG One Rewards number goes on the booking, so the hotel sees your status when you arrive and you earn on rates that qualify. When Destined and your elite tier offer the same benefit, the hotel gives you the better one, not both.
