Preferred Hotels & Resorts runs I Prefer Hotel Rewards across its independent hotels. There are four tiers — Insider, Explorer, Elite and Titanium — and you move up as your points add up.
What happens when we book for you
On a rate that qualifies, you earn points, and you can spend them as a credit against a later stay.
Each Preferred hotel is owned independently. One can leave the points scheme and still be in the collection, so we check yours before we book.

What clients ask us
- Do I earn I Prefer points when you book?
- Yes, on a rate that qualifies. You can then use the points as a credit towards a future stay.
- Will the hotel see my tier?
- Yes. Your number goes on the booking before the hotel receives it, so you get the same recognition as on a reservation made directly.
- Does every Preferred hotel take part?
- Not always. The hotels are independently owned, and one may step out of the points scheme while staying in the collection. We confirm it for your hotel.
